Yesterday was a pretty fun day…
First it started with regular cooked oats (in the microwave…eh)
Added to it were thawed berries, some almond butter, chia seeds, and unsweetened shredded coconut. Yum!
I went on a 6 mile walk/run while listening to a sermon that I really wanted to hear. I shouldn’t have waited late though, because it was so hot!
And the cutest little dog followed me all the way home from the other side of the neighborhood…he wouldn’t go away. So I felt bad, hoping his owners aren’t yelling his name. But he finally left.
After I got back, I got ready as soon as I could and my mom and I went to Costco, where I sampled the best smoked salmon and cream cheese “sandwich” (it was just on a a tiny slice of whole wheat bread for samples) I should have taken a picture. It was so good!
We stopped at Starbucks after seeing that people could get a Pumpkin Spice Latte early…I told the lady and gave her the code but she said I couldn’t get one til next week! I was so mad! Everyone on instagram had pictures of them! Can someone please tell me why I couldn’t get one? I think I was tricked and I was supposed to be able to get one.
I settled for a Vanilla Iced Coffee…
We stopped at Publix and got a few Buy One Get One deals which one of these things were Sweet Potato Fries!!! Omg.
I have this awesome twist on a taco recipe for tonight and I can’t wait to share it for FOOD FRIDAY! Sweet potato fries will be on the side. So excited
Fresh made salads!
There were two really ripe avocados in my fridge, so I had to make guacamole, obviously.
At Costco, we picked up fresh prepared seafood stuffed mushrooms and some raw asparagus to sauté. So good!! Suggest you try the stuffed mushrooms if you shop at Costco!
Okay, I gotta finish my coffee, then its time for fasted cardio!
