Post Lovin’ Tuesday

Good morning!

Before I try to run (my back hurts so I don’t know how far I’ll get), I wanted to share a few of my favorite posts in January!

Breakfast

Protein pancakes!

This is how I make mine:

  • 1 small mashed banana or 1/2 large banana
  • 1 egg & 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed or psyllium husk
  • cinnamon
  • a couple of drops of stevia
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop of non flavored protein powder
  • splash of almond milk

Just mix everything together in a medium sized bowl.

I usually thin my batter out a little so I can make 2 medium pancakes, or you can make one big pancake, or a few little ones. Whatever floats your boat!

I added my homemade applesauce and a little syrup on top of mine.

Now onto some posts that I’m loving!

I am so one of those people that will pack WAY too much. I can’t help it.

Well, Julie came to the rescue with this witty post on how to pack with just a carry on and a personal item! Can you believe it? I’m so doing this when I go to my conference.

I’m ready to dig deep in training this year so I’m about to enter into this race series of 4 different races. This is going to be rockin’. If you’re in Alabama and you are entering all of these BTC races, let me know! Maybe we can train together!

I’ve been reading Tina’s blog for a few years now, and even though I don’t personally know her, I’m still super hyped that her and her husband, Mal, are having a baby BOY! And I love that fact that she is still eating healthy and doing crossfit. She is seriously going to be the coolest mom ever!

I love Karena & Katrina from TONE IT UP (I mean I probably wouldn’t be blogging about health and fitness if it wasn’t for them). I am in love with the Love Your Body Series and this is the second year they have done it. Check out their new workout follow alongs on their YouTube channel or blog every Tuesday!

And that’s about it folks! I hope to do another post like this one soon!

Have a great day!

All Pro Science Grass Fed Whey Review and Discount!

Hey all!

About a year or two ago, we started to delve into the grass fed dairy and meat products for health reasons. I don’t like the idea of eating and drinking food that is filled with antibiotics and anything that’s been forced fed. So, if I’m able to choose between non grass fed and grass fed, I’m definitely choosing the latter.

A while ago, All Pro Science reached out to me to review their whey protein, which I accepted graciously.

I had to check out their products before I accepted though…

Here’s what I learned by checking out their site:

I love a good protein. I use it at least 3-5 times a week, so I don’t want to intake something that isn’t good for my body and overall health.

I loved the flavor they sent me. I love banana anything! So I made a smoothie recipe to enjoy the protein powder even more!

    Quick & Easy Electrolyte Smoothie

My Favorite Drinks Under 60 Calories

Good morning, y’all!

I really wanted to share my favorite drinks today because I feel like not too many people know how good they are…so with that said, here they are!

https://i0.wp.com/www.zevia.com/sites/default/themes/zevia_us/logo.png

Zevia is by far my favorite. They are simply the best and I wish there were Zevia vending machines everywhere!

They have tons of flavors to choose from…and if you’re someone who loves to drink carbonated sodas but wants to avoid all the high fructose corn syrup and sugar highs to lows, and still wants a sweet taste…here ya go! Thanks Zevia for making that possible for us!

LEMON LIME TWIST is my favorite Smile

Onto the next brand…

Raise your hand if you love sparkling water? *Raises hand

I DO!

I love, love it! I have been getting La Croix for the past couple of weeks and am enjoying it way too much. The flavors I’ve tried (Lime, Orange, & Lemon) have been really good. I can’t wait to try all the flavors.

There is nothing artificial in these cans, so no worries! You’ll save calories and your health sticking with a drink like this one.

The next drink does have calories, but its very low and great for those who workout and sweat a lot.

Vita Coco Coconut Water

I’ve been drinking coconut water for a very long time. Vita Coco is my favorite. I love drinking it after a hard run to replenish all the electrolytes that I used. For one 11.1 ounces you drink, its only 60 calories, which isn’t that bad. And its 100% natural, so the sugar content isn’t harmful to you.

They also have a few different flavors, so if you don’t like the coconut taste, you have options.

  • Do you like coconut water?
