Taking Tuesday off and enjoying myself (AKA baking)

Hiking new trails (no pictures) and refueling with a big ole salad from Earthfare

A 7 mile trail run all by myself, zoning out and enjoying it 100%.

No picture on Friday because I took this day to leave my phone at home and went out for several hours with family. Taking time off of social media is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Getting 8 miles in on Saturday even though I was aiming for 10. It was rainy, my stomach was hurting, and I felt sluggish. But 8 miles was completed! Thankful I can run that many steps

Sunday morning pancakes and fried eggs!

Baked Quest Bars

New workout I made up to change things up a little! Run-Bike-Circuit workout. Try it out, y’all!

There’s my marvelous week and weekend for ya and down below is my full training plan of last week.

Well, I did get chased/attacked by a bird yesterday on my run : ) I can safely say that has never happened to me before…On the plus side, it did force me to sprint up a hill that I normally take it easy on.

I normally microwave my Quest bars. Does baking them give a different texture?

    • Audrey says:

Haha omg! Chased by a bird? Holy cow, I’d be sprinting too!

Baking them is sooooo much better! I feel like microwaving them just doesn’t do it right. But baking them makes them perfect!

Congrats on a marvelous week! Balance is definitely key. I always have to remind myself to put my phone down and be present with those right in front ot me.

Love the watch snapshots. Garman… Polar… which would you recommend?

    • Audrey says:

Garmin is amazing for running for sure. I use the polar more when I’m just watching out for my heart rate or during my workouts. But i recommend both!
