My Favorite Drinks Under 60 Calories

Good morning, y’all!

I really wanted to share my favorite drinks today because I feel like not too many people know how good they are…so with that said, here they are!

Zevia is by far my favorite. They are simply the best and I wish there were Zevia vending machines everywhere!

They have tons of flavors to choose from…and if you’re someone who loves to drink carbonated sodas but wants to avoid all the high fructose corn syrup and sugar highs to lows, and still wants a sweet taste…here ya go! Thanks Zevia for making that possible for us!

LEMON LIME TWIST is my favorite Smile

Onto the next brand…

Raise your hand if you love sparkling water? *Raises hand

I DO!

I love, love it! I have been getting La Croix for the past couple of weeks and am enjoying it way too much. The flavors I’ve tried (Lime, Orange, & Lemon) have been really good. I can’t wait to try all the flavors.

There is nothing artificial in these cans, so no worries! You’ll save calories and your health sticking with a drink like this one.

The next drink does have calories, but its very low and great for those who workout and sweat a lot.

Vita Coco Coconut Water

I’ve been drinking coconut water for a very long time. Vita Coco is my favorite. I love drinking it after a hard run to replenish all the electrolytes that I used. For one 11.1 ounces you drink, its only 60 calories, which isn’t that bad. And its 100% natural, so the sugar content isn’t harmful to you.

They also have a few different flavors, so if you don’t like the coconut taste, you have options.

Questions:

  • What is your favorite drink?
  • Do you like coconut water?

My favorite fall dish is probably pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese icing. Does that count as a dish exactly? Oh well, it’s delicious!

YAY!

******

Last night, I got to run with Newton Running…well, kinda!

newton

I tried on the shoes they were testing out, and personally, they did not feel good on my feet. I wasn’t a fan of the Energy. Don’t get me wrong, I bet it’s a great shoe! But on my foot I just didn’t like it.

Thank you, Josh, who came out to Trak Shak in Homewood to let us take a look!

My mom and dad tried on the Gravity (neutral shoe) and they liked it so they ran 5 miles in that.

I ran 5 miles in my own shoes. BOO!

I ran very well though with the heat, so pretty proud of myself.

I was running 8:45 pace after the 1 mile and felt awesome and right before the 2.5 mile water stop, I was just so HOT, so slowed down a bit! Alabama heat <<<<

Tried to keep a 9 min pace but I kept slowing down, getting faster, slowing down…so it was just messy. But I only stopped once (the water stop)! Building up that endurance for half marathon, baby!

When I got back from my run though, I did try on the Newton Motion, which I really liked! Wish they would have had a pair for me to test out. I’ve been wanting to try Newton Running shoes for a while and the Motion has been in the back of my mind.

I need this shoe for my upcoming Fall races. I would love to be able to share my experience with the shoe with you all.

You bet I stopped at O’Henry’s to get an iced coffee! With almond milk! Thank you for having Almond Milk.

If you live in Birmingham, O’Henry’s will have their Pumpkin Spice Lattes out September 18, next Tuesday! They tweeted @ me! Hehe

@AudreyRuns September 18th is the day!!!

And they have their own Pumpkin Spice coffee you can buy! The lady working told me it was delicious!

Bye Runners!

By the way, I’m not taking a picture of the car…but of the people at Trak Shak in the distance. Smile If you squint really hard, you can see them. Most of them were sitting.

Oh, and had another Beet & Feta sandwich when I got home…

YUM!

Have a great Thursday!

Questions:

  • Do you run in Newton’s? If not, what shoe do you run in?
  • Favorite drink at a local Coffee shop? (I love O’Henry’s Chai Tea Latte!)

What Happened + Back To Gear Cardio and Core!

Soooo, I was super ready to get back to blogging…then something major happened and blogging just wasn’t happening. There was no time!

But, now I’m back! For good. FOR GOOD!!!!!

Okey dokey…

For breakfast this morning I had some yummy oats!

Recipe: Mix these ingredients in a bowl

1/3 cup thick oats (I use Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free)

2/3 cup water,

5 Stevia drops

1 tbsp coconut flour

1 tsp chia seeds

Microwave for 3 min. Stir. Cook for 1 more minute. Stir in as much cinnamon as you want! Top with peanutbutter  and 1/2 banana ❤

I just got over a cold. So I’m getting back to workouts today. I was so mad this past week because every time I tried to workout, I could barely breath because my nose, head, and coughing was just horrible. So, I feel like I’ve lost all my muscle. Probably not, but getting there. So I gotta get back to sweatin’ and I’m taking today’s workout outdoors!

This is what I’m about to go do!

Back to Gear Cardio & Core

Skinny Dip w/ Leg Cross

Squat w/ Front Leg Kick

Squat w/ knee cross

Butterfly Situps

For the pushup w/ side plank and hug…this is what to do!

First:

Then HUG! (Like Katrina from Tone It Up)

Okay, that’s all! Have a great Tuesday!
